Staff

Every child is important. We staff each classroom with a teacher who cares that every student, every day, learns and grows and experiences success.

Principal Talk:

It seems every year that we--the Board, the Staff and I become part of each student's extended family. We love them, teach them, guide them and lead them on a journey into tomorrow. As we move alongside parents on that long trek, our children walk behind us--listening and watching as we teach. Often, they follow in our footsteps and emulate our behavior. We want to train them well, letting each child know that he is important, and that she can make a difference in the world.

We stress the basic academic skills in class to prepare students for the challenges in higher education and the workplace. We provide a framework of discipline and stability so that they develop self-discipline and establish order in the world around them. We strive to build the constructive character and self-confidence in our children that is so critical for their future success and happiness. We want them to make a meaningful contribution to society.

One day, our children will run ahead of us, leading the way. That will be a joyous day if we do our jobs well now. Our heart's desire at Happy Valley is to be good examples--mentors who inspire them to greatness, patriotism, care and compassion for others. We want them to learn all the skills that will enable them to master the challenges in their world. It is our blessing and privilege to serve the families at Happy Valley School.
